David Choi Continues His Christmas Song Marathon

A new twist to the old “White Christmas”. I hope y’all enjoy this one (there was a hint of David Choi smiling here, but a bit blurry, though).

David Choi does this Christmas Caroling every weekday, which started last week. Just check out his YouTube Channel every weekday.

Have Yourself a Blues-y Little Christmas

This guy really made it at the top of my christmas list! This guy not only sets the bar higher for the carol “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas”, but also gives a fresh and relaxing sound to any carols I’ve heard so far.

Here’s YouTube user ortoPilot, singing “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas”

What can I say? He has all of it, like good phrasing, blues-y sound, but not compromising the true message of the song. It’s like breathing out some relaxing greetings for the Holidays effortlessly!

Granpa Also Does YouTube!

First off, I really don’t think this video is funny. But, though I have nothing against granpa Dennis Brown about singing in front of the Karaoke, it is still singing in front of the Karaoke. I mean, I’ve seen a lot of people sing in front of the box making the song their own, not only copying the exact tone, phrasing, and even the huskiness that the original singer had.

Here’s Dennis Brown for “If Everyday Was Like Christmas”, originally sung by The King himself, Elvis Presley.

Well, on the lighter side, at least granpa knows how to sing. He just doesn’t know how to make his own style and be contemporary with what YouTube viewers like me are expecting. Another plus for having “that much” videos in his YouTube channel (he has 66 of them as of press time).

At least, he still tries to prove that YouTube is a moms and pops thing.

Sweets for Your Christmas Tree

Searching for all possible Christmas covers in YouTube led me to this sweet-singing girl named Lana McKissack. Of course, “The Christmas Song”, if not “White Christmas”, has been the most covered song ever in the music industry, and I seem to notice that most artists who does a Christmas album never forget to include this in their track list.

Anyway, before I babble enough to make a novel, here’s Lana for her version of “The Christmas Song”.

What can I say, the girl really knows how to sing. And she really made the song her own, albeit a few diction problems at the start of the song. But she really is cute, don’t you guys think?

All I Want for Christmas…

This is a Jason Mraz and Tristan Prettyman Christmas song, and to tell you honestly, even if I listen to Jason Mraz’s songs, I haven’t heard this song yet until now.

Anyway, here’s YT user Adielynn singing her cover version of “All I Want for Christmas”

She seems to be enjoying singing this song. Her guitar playing is normal (I’m trying to be critical about it, but I just can’t), and her voice is kinda shy. But what’s for sure is I enjoyed watching this video.
